There are nice places to eat and there is a big enough supermarket with a good variety of fresh foods.

I had the chance to see the inn before the renovation and meet Nao San. Nao San is a great host. The inn is beautiful and clean. The scenery around the it is wonderful and everyone, workers and visitors were friendly and welcoming!! I promise to come back and see the place after the renovation ;)

Dressed in your yukata, winter jacket, and clogs (graciously supplied by the hotel), you are a few steps away from the well-known Kin no Yu Onsen and foot bath. The futons were super comfortable, too, giving you a restful nights sleep.
