I’m so lucky to have been able to live in such a nice and cozy house in Kyoto, it felt like a second home. Very nicely equipped (nice kitchen with tasty cafe machine, sauna, bathtub, 2 showers, washing machine). Owner is really really nice and more than helpful. Everything was very clean. Close to Ginkakuji, Philosophy Path and Fushimi Inari. One should communicate with the owner, if you are a bit of overweight like myself, if one more mattress under the futon is needed.

The property is right next to a small temple; very suitable for a morning contemplation before setting out for the next leg of your journey. I highly recommend staying at this property.
