This is a fantastic place to stay in a building dating back to the 1860s that was once a school. Our room was incredibly spacious, with its own private entrance and bathroom. There were plenty of old toys unside, which our two-year-old daughter absolutely loved. The breakfast was quite adequate. There are many interesting farms in the area, including unique UNESCO sites, making it convenient to explore. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it.

Friendly host. Great location if you want to go on hikes or go fishing ( I stayed during spring), I can imagine it being even better in winter. A lot of seating on the terrace were you can enjoy the sun in private. I would highly recommend!

L’hébergement Gammelgården Guesthouse se trouve à Ljusdal, à respectivement 21 km, 38 km et 6,3 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Jarvso Zoo, Harsagården et Ljusdal Train Station. The small house was really nice and with a tasteful interior. The log fire stove is a great and cosy addition when it's freezing outside and the jacuzzi hot tub was amazing after a day skiing.

Les explications sont claires pour le logement, en anglais ou en suédois, par mail, sur le site et aussi dans le livret dans la maison. La maison ne manque de rien, et l'accès au sauna est un plus très appréciable :) L'utilisation de la barque pour se promener sur le lac ou pêcher c'est super! et en plus, nous avons trouvé des champignons Encore Merci à Roger pour avoir accepter ma demande spéciale!

What we really like is that we can cook and entertain our relatives in comfort and the convenience almost of home. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. And the host Helena is wonderful.
