I stayed for 3 nights. Location is convenient as its near where the Shkoder minibus/van drop people off, also 200-300m away from the only mini market in town. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains from the room's balcony. Room is new, clean & comfortable. There is heating available & non-stop hot water supply for shower. Bed is comfortable. The family running the guesthouse is very nice & accommodating, they helped me with laundry as I ran out of clothes to wear. They also arranged for a jeep/4WD to take me to Nderlysaj where the hike to Blue Eye Theth starts. They can also help to book the transport back to Shkoder. I absolutely loved my stay & would highly recommend staying here!

This is a new guesthouse with comfy rooms and very good showers (there is good water pressure in the shower, not something to take for granted in a place like Theth). The breakfast was nice, and the hosts are warm and welcoming. There is also a small fridge in the room. Definitely recommend staying here :)

Beautifully curated place, from the garden, to the rooms, to the breakfast and dinner with typical local Albanian food. Extremely nice and helpful people, true to the proverbial Albanian hospitality.

The house is high up in the mountains. We rode our motorcycles there. The track to the house is rocky so I’d say don’t attempt it unless you are fairly confident with your off road riding skills. They also do a pick up service. The house overlooks the town and there’s mountains in all directions. It has the most breathtaking view. We originally wanted to just stay one night but changed it to four because it’s so beautiful up in the mountains. The host are an elderly couple who don’t speak English. They try their best to be hospitable. We had dinner at the house made my the hostess every night. Dinner is simple and satisfying. Breakfast is included. It is an Albanian donut like ball thing with jam and honey. I love this donut thing. She makes them fresh in the morning. The house has a fireplace and they started a massive blazing fire for us to dry our motorcycle clothes after we did the laundry using their washing machine. There are chickens, a cow, a sheep, and a few horses in their garden. There’s the animal part of the garden and there’s the human part of the garden. Sometimes the animals would walk over to the human side and the hostess would come out of nowhere and chase them back. It was quite a hilarious scene to watch a naughty horse and cow in trouble slowly walk past the window with a lady behind them shooing them. The couple are really really nice and made our stay very enjoyable and personable. The WiFi works quite well. About 20-30 mbps. Good enough for zoom calls and Netflix. Better than a restaurant’s WiFi down in Theth. WiFi connection is available only in a few places though mainly the living room. In certain corners if the room you might get signal.

The best part is the location of this property. Petrit was fantastic and helpful with everything we needed. . If you want to stay peacefully and enjoy stay in Alps visit this place. The room was modern with all the facilities you need, and a lovely bathroom. Clean, tidy, homely, 10/10 food and very friendly staff

Our stay in Theth was a true pleasure – not only because of the magnificent and beautiful nature, but also because we stayed with the sweetest host family. It was (and still is) a wonderful, small, and very peaceful place. A family-run hotel where the host, Donart, was warm and welcoming, just like the rest of his family. We felt at home. The food was great, and the prices were definitely reasonable. We truly felt welcome and would love to return another time.

We loved the room and the stunning view of the river and mountains from the balcony. The bed was super comfy, the shower was great and overall so many thoughtful touches in the room (the beanbag, the soft fluffy cushions and throws, the pretty lighting) made it feel like a luxurious place to come back and relax in after hiking. We ate dinner at the guesthouse both nights and Violeta’s cooking was delicious. Bear in mind that you can access the property on a paved road now by taking the ‘bridge for cars’ shown on Google maps!
