We had a very traditional and authentic experience at the Bujtina Vjosa. The location right near the Vjosa river is one of a kind. Also the staff was very friendly and kind, especially the woman called Vali. Her food was delicious and the rooms were clean and tidy.

That is an example of Albanian Hospitality! You feel like visiting your aunt. That feeling is unforgettable! Clean room, new bedding and SUPER breakfast (with fresh goat milk!)! Great stay if you want to spend a few days away from the touristic places. You’ll be driving through small mountain roads with gravel, so a 4x4 is recommended (but not absolutely necessary). The staff is super friendly and food is great. But don’t expect a 5* resort - this is a very nice family run accommodation.
