The single room was wonderful, newly renovated, comfortable, decent size and I enjoyed the breakfast. The parking was great - big spaces and under cover. The family who run the guesthouse were very friendly and helpful - I was not familiar with the area at all but they gave tips on where to go. They spoke English well which I was very grateful for. I was given the Burgenland card with the stay which gives discounts at lots of local attractions like free entry to beaches/pools in the area. The location was great too - close to the centre of Illmitz, walking distance to restaurants and bike rental at Radverleih Mürner so it was easy to rent a bike there and explore the area, including the big lake - I think this area is great for cyclists. Overall I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to others!

We got a very nice spacious apartment , which included a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a common room. The room was always clean, the staff pleasant. The lady Mariella was very helpful, the breakfast was excellent. Since we wanted to discover the beauty and taste of this wine region, we rode bicycles, which we could then safely park in the garage. Beautiful environment, we were surprised by the acceptance of cyclists in the towns, which was something new for us after our experience in Slovakia. And finally, the owners of the hotel are also the owners of the winery, and we had to give us the opportunity to taste their wine, which we recommend. I have already recommended the stay at the hotel to my friends and family. I'll sum it up in one sentence, the stay in this hotel and country was too short and despite the fact that we always like to discover new countries, we want to come back here for sure .....one day 😊
