Excellent 17th century inn with pool, jacuzzi, and a comfortable bedroom. Have been on the Camino de Santiago and the albergue we were to stay at became problematic. This option came up and I'm glad we took it.

Spacious twin room with seperate private bathroom. Large windows open for fresh air. Has those exterior solid blinds that black out all light. Room and linen was clean. Towels provided. Shower gel in shower provided. Had a large wardrobe with coat hangers and spare blankets. Comfortable bed. Quiet room and location. Restaurant on site was good value and delicious (hamburger €5, dessert €5.80). Nice lady and man run the place. I used the correos luggage transfer service to/from and this went well. The yellow Camino arrow turns right as you come into town (San Miguel de Meruelo) on the main road (CA-452) at intersection with B. (Barrio) Monar sign. You'll come back and rejoin there the next day. That point is about 650m/less than 10min walk from accomodation. Excellent wifi. Room had TV and a chair with foldout table. This location can be a good alternative to Guemes if you have come from Laredo (it will take you about 2hrs to catch up the next day with those who stay at the Albergue in Guemes).

La Casona is located in central Noja, this hotel is in the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage route. Trengandin Beach is 250 metres away.

Value for money. I loved the closed wooden balcony (pic.). Make-up mirror in the bath. AC was excellent. Staff go out of their way to satisfy you. There was a misunderstanding with something I ordered for dinner. These things happen when you don't speak the native language. Even though I insisted on paying, they did not charge me. Very professional!! The most important of all - Congratulations to the chef ---- magnificent cuisine!!! ADVICE FOR PILGRIMS---treat yourself and go to Escalante. You don't have to stay in Laredo, Santoña, Noja, etc. Escalante is a 15min. bus ride away. Buses run all day. Check it out.

Situated in Santoña, La Mies del Marqués offers beachfront accommodation 200 metres from Playa de Berria and features various facilities, such as a garden and a bar.

The place was better than expected. The room was very nice, everything very clean and sooooo close to the beach and restaurants. Will surely repeat next year.
