Super nicely decorated historic house in the "medina" of Tarifa. Our accomodation was split in a bedroom, a small ante-room with an open air feeling (translucent roofing), and a bathroom, all optically connected by open windows. If you travel by car, it is 5 mins by foot from the municipal parking outside the city wall. Look across the city walls to Morocco, and make sure to eat out for the tuna at least once in El Cocedero del Varadero.

Situated just a short distance from Tarifa, this was the perfect location for us. The Hostal is in lovely grounds and the staff could not have been more helpful, giving us plenty of great detailed information on the local area and places to visit. The beds were the most comfortable we had found on our annual road trip. Breakfast is served in the attached bar and was well presented and plentiful. A large car park is available. WiFi was excellent, which made a pleasant change The whole area was well kept and spotless. We were given a tour of the other rooms available and they were all stunning, the rooms with the kitchens would be perfect for a longer stay. This is a beautiful area, with lots to see and do, and we will certainly be returning in the future.

The location couldn't have been better! Close to a lot of great restaurants and the beautiful beach, I was able to walk everywhere and find anything I wanted. There is a city bus stop right there so I could explore other parts of Tarifa. And the streets are so clean! They clean them every morning. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff were always available and super helpful. I will be going back!
