Beautiful hotel, the architecture and interior were stunning. The room was comfortable and it was great to have the balcony in the deluxe room. The staff were attentive and friendly. We had dinner in the cafe on one night and it was fantastic. The surrounding area was beautiful and it was easy to get everywhere from the hotel.

Everything. Jerome was very attentive and helpful with advice. He also looked after us with enjoying and appetising breakfasts. An added bonus was that one of the guest house dogs knows the mountains very well and is always keen to explore them once again. Jerome is very happy to offer a "borrow my doggy" service to competent hill walkers who stay at the guest house. Fellow, that is the dog's name, even has a GPS tag on him, so that is a useful safety feature for those out walking with Fellow for the day. Fellow looks after himself, whilst keeping an eye on you at all times, and he is better at hiking, and even scrambling, than you will ever be. :-)

The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We have visited in early summer, early autumn and in the cold seasonal weather of late November. The room was suitably cool and warm as appropriate to the season. Also very peaceful and close to the excellent tram service. Breakfast was always generous and varied with fresh yogurt, fruit salad, local bread and cheeses. Excellent coffee. Our hostess was always friendly and helpful.
