Great location for Kelimutu. Very sweet landlady. In nice weather, you have a balcony looking over the whole village. There’s a very atmospheric bar/restaurant about five mins away that does really good live music. We got invited to a local holy communion which was a crazy introduction to local culture. Very welcoming local community.

Hans, Emelda & family really made us feel like we were at home - from inviting us to their Son’s celebration one evening, tending to our injuries after we took a fall, arranging buses for us, and organising for their Nephew Anton to show us around his village. Absolutely fantastic 3 day stay at this lovely guest house. Hosts Alex and Fin were so welcoming and knowledgeable, organising activities according to our particular interests. Trips to villages, walking down from Kelimutu through villages, large village market at Jopu, weaving tour, visits to viewpoints, party, delicious food, visit to a garden. The accommodation is well located in central Moni, clean and comfortable. Exceptional stay, highly recommended.
