Came to jhony’s for two days trekking tour through the jungle and was an incredible experience, from the start seeing orangutans and many monkeys around , the five start hotel in the jungle for the first night was special and the next day rafting to coming back to our a accomodation in Bukit lawang was the perfect close . We did the 2-day, 1-night hike and it was an amazing experience. Our guide was excellent – knowledgeable, friendly, and very informative. The staff were all so kind, helpful, and great company throughout our stay. I can highly recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely spacious rooms with gorgeous balcony and view. Rooms were very clean with flushing toilets! Easy walk into town where there’s lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The owner and staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We felt very safe and welcome here. They cooked us lovely banana pancakes for breakfast and a lovely lunch.

Amazing stay in Bukit Lawang! Could not have imagined it being any better :) The rooms were spacious and clean, we stayed in both rooms and both were great! The cheaper room has a garden view and the more expensive one the view onto the rice fields, which was a really nice bonus. Wifi worked well all the time. The guesthouse is located 10-15 mins walking time to the village, where you find a supermarket and a few warungs, where you can get a tasty and very cheap dinner. We didn't find the location problematic, rather nice as we were out in the quiet :) All the staff was always extremely friendly and helpful! They all together with the host Bayu made us feel more like family or close friends rather than just guests, which made it difficult to leave the place! We also booked a 2-day jungle trekking with Bayu - our guides were Jipour and Ali - awesome experience with lots of information and great fun, incl. spotting big and small animals, and, of course, orangutans :) Highly recommended! :)

I loved my stay here. The location is incredible - literally within the jungle. The staff are friendly and helpful, and took me out on a night jungle trek. I have never stayed anywhere like this, and I would recommend Back to Nature to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the jungle near Bukit Lawang. Truly a one of a kind accommodation.

We did a 2 day, 1 night tour with them. The guide Jos and Holand were great! Jos really made an effort to show us a lot of animals and has a lot of knowledge. The trekking was a real adventure!

Great service from airport pickup to drop off 3 days later. The guesthouse has so much character with jungle theme decor. Andre was a fantastic guide who took us on the one day jungle trek where we saw orangutans, gibbons, and monkeys. His English is brilliant - he was able to tell us so much about the animals. We were grateful they cooked us dinner in the restaurant when we arrived late after 10pm. The food was delicious, and the portions were huge!! Well worth the long journey from Medan
