I spent only one night at this guesthouse, but I had a really great time. The position is excellent in the middle of the town with a wide space where to park the car. The room was clean, cozy and had plenty of space; the same for the living room where you can just sit on the sofa or the armchair and enjoy the view. There are three bathrooms, two of them with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. Additionally, it was very easy to communicate with the host, who promptly gave instructions about the check-in. I highly recommend this place if you're travelling around Snæfellsnes.

Kast Guesthouse is a good place to stop for an overnight between scenic locations. They have a small eating place where breakfast and dinner is served. Dinner was limited to 3 options but it was fantastic options. Breakfast selection was also very good.

Beautiful cottage with a fully equipped kitchen. They even had an egg slicer. You have a great view to the sea, the room was cosy and the water was hot. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

Amazing views, rooms are little outdated, but everything we needed was there. Icelandic food buffet, over priced but taste was good. Breakfast was great.

+ amazing place near the beach with fantastic landscapes +good place to see the Northern lights is the weather is good +common kitchen was very clean and well maintained and had all the utensils with multiple stoves. +common shower and toilet were also very clean and well maintained. Separate shower and toilet area for women also is available. +petrol/diesel gas station is right next to this place. Very easy to fill up our cars for the next day's long trip.

The cottage was nice and clean. It is very convenient that you can check in on your own so late check in is not a problem. There is a nice restaurant nearby (Stapinn) and their soup was delicious, especially after such a long day.
