This was one of the best accomodations I have stayed in while in Italy. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to check-in during late hours after the officially allowed time. I would absolutely recommend this stay if you are visiting Merano.

Villa Hubertus is truly exceptional for many reasons. The property is well-designed with high-quality furnishings and offers many amenities and comfort. Our room was spacious and beautiful with a great walk-in shower, a good view with a lovely balcony, and two sitting areas. Breakfasts were very good. We did not use the pool or our own private sauna, unfortunately, and only wished we could have stayed longer to use both. Daniela and Rudy, the owners and our hosts, kindly helped us with a hike to Reinhold Messner’s castle just outside Naturno, which we may have missed without their planning and guidance. They are lovely and helpful hosts. The property is within easy walking distance of restaurants, stores including a grocery store, and an ice cream shop. Villa Hubertus also offers free parking onsite in an underground garage and an elevator so one doesn’t have to schlep luggage on the stairs. We have nothing but admiration for and appreciation of Villa Hubertus. We would return today to stay longer if we could.

I woke up at 3 pm...there was an absolute silence.. i love silence..i made an audio recording of 1 min of it...i stayed awake for an hour, just enjoying the total absence of noise pollution. It was fantastic! The host understood i was in a hurry to get to the vineyards before sunset, he was very accommodating to explain everything quickly so i can get going. The apt is close to the shopping area & to Ötzi as well.
