Such a lovely home! There are no other buildings around to block the view, much like a fairy tale house. The hosts are very friendly, and the breakfast is very authentic, a home-cooked meal that allows you to experience Japanese culture. The two little pets at home are very enthusiastic. The staff is really friendly and the whole proberty is really clean. There is a common room with a big fridge and a microwave. There is also tea and coffee for free. The room is small but comfortable an really clean. We really enjoyed our stay there and can highly recommended.

Highly recommend Totonou Guest House. We stayed for two weeks in this beautiful part of Hokkaido. The accommodation is very relaxed and an excellent home away from home to explore the quieter sides of the island. Ryuichi and Chiharu are excellent hosts, super lovely and friendly. You can ask them anything and they gave us so much local advice! The kitchen is great if you like to cook. It is also a good place for remote work, with a dedicated workspace and fast internet speed if needed. Other useful things… there is a train station and Seicomart close by and Ryuichi’s Mum and sister sell delicious onigiri two houses along!!! Thank you so much for our wonderful time, we hope we can come back soon!!!

Gorgeous pension with welcoming staff and an amazing breakfast ! The staff were so helpful; they booked restaurants for dinners and found us bikes to cycle round the town on.
