The manager was so nice and friendly, and extremely helpful. My Japanese is just basic/intermediate so he helped a lot with filling out forms and suggested us places to go. The inside looked so beautiful and was very comfortable, it was a surprise to have a kotatsu in the room to use. The shared facilities were extremely clean and comfortable, also there were enough of them that you still feel like it’s not shared. Even though they are tatami rooms, the facilities are still quite modern and it is clear that they do their best to be eco friendly. The manager recommended Mube tea room which is about a 3-5 minute walk away and it was really beautiful and tasty. They have a lovely garden and small gallery too. There is a spa a walk away, with a restaurant, cafe and a free foot onsen outside. Overall a great experience.

Everything. From the room to the ofuro. Warm enough and clear. The staff is so nice I felt like home, I’m really grateful. I strongly recommend to have dinner here because is amazing. Best meal I had since I come here.
