The lady welcoming me (Chiyoo) was awesome and super helpful, she made everything easy. The room was good and spacious and the mat was more comfortable than in other Japanese ryokans.

A lovely accommodation! Simple, clean, and very, very authentic. The owners were incredibly kind and generous and made us feel very very welcome (and they have the cutest Shiba Inu)! And you will be sleeping in an authentic Japanese home. Thank you! We’ll be back next time we’re in Kanazawa.

Good price for a spacious and well equipped house. The host met us at the house and showed us everything. We loved the little garden and especially seeing it after it snowed in the night. Really useful to have the washing machine.

    Very lovely guest house with a great host. Pleasant change to the usual choice of more or less soulless hotels if you want something more unique. I visited for a couple of days to see Kanazawa. Would definitely choose this accommodation again. Medium-duration walk to the city centre.

    Beautiful and quaint traditional style guesthouse. come here for a proper traditional Japanese stay experience. The host was lovely and they have created a traditional feel with modern renovations and comforts like air conditioning and bathroom facilities. Out of the busier downtown area but walkable (20-30 mins) or by bus.
