Comfortable, extremely clean rooms and shared bathrooms, with an excellent location (very close to a train station and many great, local shops and restaurants - not many tourists). Staff is excellent (Sachiko is so friendly and helpful!), and the common areas are great as well.

I was looking for an accommodation for my parents, who would visit me for the first time in Japan. They're both in their 60es and not used to bigger cities at all. Luckily this accommodation was close to my apartment but still not located in the area that's crowded and noisy at night. The rooms were extremely clean and very well equipped. Even for older folks who didn't understand any English or Japanese they had no trouble using the facilities and had a great sleep in the double bed - even better than at home! This was huge for us. Further, in bigger hotels you usually cannot open any windows and constantly hear your neighbours. Non of this was true for COSMOS. We barely heard any noises and could open the balcony door to get fresh air in. I believe for Europeans this is a big deal, so I'd highly recommend!

I stayed for 10 days and it was very comfortable. The room was clean, my bed was soft, and the location was close to the station and everything else; just what I needed for my time in Ikebukuro. There's a 7-Eleven and grocery store right around the corner as well, which was convenient. Overall, my stay here has been great and I'm definitely coming back if given the chance!
