We had a wonderful stay! The view is breathtaking, the room was amazingly clean and fresh with comfortable bed. The whole family was so helpful and kind, even helped us with food when we arrived late and hungry. Our best stay in sri lanka so far. Definitely recommend staying at mountain view guesthouse when you are in Kandy!

Great location not far from town centre, bus station, railway station etc. nestled in a leafy area away from the chaos of town. We watched the squirrels and birds from the balcony while eating breakfast. Siraj was a fantastic host. Best pancakes and fruit platter. He was very friendly and helped us answer our questions about Kandy. PickMe and Uber work well here too.

It was a very clean and a beautiful room. They gave a delicious sri lankan breakfast. Also the host was very helpful and treated us well. He arranged us a city tour with a small car ( $ 12) 10 hours full day. Also the host guided us the temple of the tooth relic for free which we should give some extra credits. I highly recommend the place and the tours for all of you. This place is an unforgettable place for us. Thank you for everything

Views are incredible, clean & good shower. Sri Lankan breakfasts delicious, also had dinner cooked for us which was also delicious! A previous review wrote about the price of dinner, but it was worth every penny! Viper, the owner was super helpful and was full of interesting history/facts about Kandy.
