Kenneth set up Mango House originally to cater for Japanese tourists to Sri Lanka. Post-COVID he made the decision to open up to everyone and I'm so glad he did. The grounds are immaculate, and there is such an obvious sense of pride in what he does. The guest house is essentially it's own little compound with gardens and a pool, And is such a wonderfully peaceful break from the chaos.

The family were very welcoming and friendly. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here before or after your flight 😊 they waited up until late for our arrival and arranged transport for us. Breakfast was delicious!

The host, Ms. Jennifer, was very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, our first hoppers. Close to the beach and shopping street. Great location, great value. This was our first night in Sri Lanka and a great introduction to Sri Lankan hospitality.

I’m happy to confirm other 5- star reviews! Brenda and Ron run a friendly and stylish guesthouse set in a beautiful garden with patios and a pool. Their breakfasts (choose between a European and a Sri Lankan one) are feasts! We wish we’d scheduled a longer stay with them.
