NetherlandsI only planned to stay 2 nights, but I kept extending and extending. I ended up staying for 3 weeks in total. I made so many friends. The staff, both receptionists (Sam y Pao) and volunteers (Pablo - the Best chef!, André, Bianca!) made me feel so welcome and at home.
I had the time of my life. It all felt like one big family, sharing beautiful moments together, and food.
I stayed in a tent, which was very comfortable!! The common area is very chill with lots of hammocks.

FranceCasa Mech is perfectly located in Holbox, near of the city centre, near from the beach and in a quiet area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Their hosts, Mauricio and Irais are so welcoming and friendly. They gave us great advices and made us feel like if we were at our home. We loved it so much that we changed our holiday plans and came back a second time here.

We really felt like we were at home. The place felt like we were right on the ocean. Everything was close by, the market, beach and city center. The room was lovely with both air-con and a ceiling fan. I enjoyed the hammock in my room as well. Great location, close to everything but still quiet. The hosts are amazing, they went out of their way to help me get to the ferry after a big storm that cut off the electricity to the island and flooded the streets. It is quiet, clean, and safe. My room had a hammock, AC, fan and a little fridge. Everything very helpful to handle the heat. And finally a place where I could hang some clothes outside to dry :) It is very close to the beach and just felt a bit far from the center at night for a solo traveler but actually it was safe to come back walking at night.
