The host Angelo was excellent, provided recommendations for great food and local culture. Accommodation was central but very quiet so a good night’s sleep was possible. little complimentary extras were provided and appreciated!!

Evert is a fantastic host who made us welcome from arrival to departure. The room is beautiful and spacious with a wonderful view of the quiet street below and the canal. The bed is roomy and very comfortable. The location is fantastic - close enough to restaurants, bars, public transport, etc to walk but just far enough away to be nice and quiet at night. The two cats who live downstairs in a separate part of the house are also a major attraction.

Milly was very friendly and welcoming and provided us with a lot of useful information for our trip. She did so many little extras that made us feel like we were staying with friends. The breakfast was amazing, including her organic, homemade granola. She cleaned our room daily and everything is arranged so beautifully. We used the bikes she provided and they were super. She gave us background information about Almere which was very interesting. I would go back in an instant.

Our host Rosalie was super nice and welcoming. The place was very cosy, comfortable and clean. The terrace on/next to the water was really nice to use (there are also paddles available). The place is near from the free ferry (10-15min by walk - and obviously quicker if you have bikes) and then it only takes a few minutes to join central station (5 to 15minutes depending on the ferry you take). There is a supermarket on the way, which is very convenient. Finally, the “Straat museum” is near the place and we really enjoyed visiting it (museum of street art and graffiti). We recommend this place a 100%.
