The owners went out of their way to be helpful and efficient - very nice people. We loved the pool and surrounding decks and the view of the river Douro was spectacular. A very nice breakfast was offered in a very pleasant room with the same wonderful view.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff that opened us the door with a big smile :) we were recommended excellent restaurants and places to visit! The room was super clean and big, well furnished! It really exceeded our expectations! Breakfast was also great

Sérgio was lovely, what an incredible host! He sorted taxis for us to and from Ermida station, shared his homemade port, and made sure to check in with us on a regular (but not over the top) basis. This was an incredible break in a beautiful part of the world. Great value for money for our 4 nights! Others have noted the bed is on the shorter side, fine for me at 179cm, but only just. And no AC, but there is a fan. It's a no frills place in a lovely town, as long as you expect that you'll have a great time. . We'll stay again if we're ever back in the region!
