Hospitable stay in this beautiful home just north of the village on our walk of the Camino Torres (on our route). Although a couple of kilometres north of town, there is a kitchenette with a fridge available for use by guests, which was helpful. The communal area is beautifully decorated and very comfortable with table & sofa seating. A gorgeous pool at the back of the property for better weather days. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Beautiful wooden floors. Everything was immaculate. Very quiet pretty countryside. Staying here with a car or even using the local taxi service would be very convenient to explore the local area from.

Arriving to this magic place, you feel immediately comfortable. Maria and her team are very attentive and friendly. They take attention to every detail, it is such a pleasure to enjoy it at any moment of the day. The Quinta is placed in the vineyards and offers you a breathtaking view into the Douro. The ambience at the pool area is just relaxing, with homemade snacks and limonade and not to forget a good glass of Porto. The breakfast and dinner are from very good quality and with a lot of variety. Our superior room with a private terrace has a pool and valley view, just amazing! There’s no better stay in the Douro and we will appreciate to come back! This is also one of the best B&B we had in all our travel life! Thank you for everything. Tania&Rudi

Our host left some fresh baked breads for us in the morning which we found to be very convenient. The kitchen was dated, but complete with everything you might need. The bathrooms were modern in comparison to the rest of the house. We felt as if transported into the days of Downton Abby with all the antique furniture, and the space was enormous. The bedrooms were all large with four poster beds. Altogether a nice experience.

Sérgio was a lovely host. He had some great tips for restaurants and places in the neighborhood, gave us a glass of his homemade port and after our stay was kind enough to mail us some items we had accidentally left behind. The house is great and located well within the valley. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The location was great, not too far from where we wanted to go and the center of town, nice view of the vineyards first thing in the morning, not too mention the owner who was a excellent person very friendly and always happy and friendly, always had a story to tell, I would definitely recommend this place to people who are interested in visiting Peso da Régua and staying not too far from all the attractions…. Very affordable, clean and friendly!!!!there was no breakfast on the premises but that was not a problem they are plenty of little cafés around…. Thank you senhor Carlos for keeping us laughing every time we talked to you, keep on being the amazing person that you are. We will definitely be seeing you again in the near future .

    The whole experience was fabulous on arrival the hosts Eliza and Ines were very warming and charming people, Everything was polite helpful and what an amazing place, The views were spectacular over the river and it was so peaceful we wished we had booked longer to discover this region of Portugal, room excellent, breakfast excellent ,and the home made cakes to die for would love to go back and spend more time relaxing there with a glass of wine and takig in the unforgettable views,

    This is a beautiful guesthouse with stunning views of the Douro Valley. The owners were very friendly & welcomed us with a glass of port . The bedrooms have balconies looking over the river. The breakfast was good and included fresh rolls, ham, eggs, cheese and fresh fruit. There is a beautiful infinity pool and jacuzzi.
