Checkin was via the cafe bar downstairs and the owner was fantastic - very helpful and very friendly. The room was good and the view .. Well it certainly was Bella ! I even gad eagles flying above.

Everything. Very quiet. Perfect relaxation for first days of holidays after very busy work month. Maria rocks. The owner is making good marmalade. :-) It is renovated old house with several rooms and apartments. The renovation is really perfect. A lot of locations inside the property where you can relax, read a book, or enjoy a glass of wine during the hot part of the day. We were there alone and it was a kind of magic.

This a lovely place to stay in Miranda do Douro. It is located in a quiet area, just few steps away from the old one, and with a lovely view to the Douro River and the rocks with its mysterious number "2". The breakfast and coffee are delicious and the owners were so kind to pack something for us for our early check-out, when we had to take a 6:30 AM bus. The family running this accommodation is very gentle and hardworking and will be available and keen to share more of the special culture of the Mirandese Plateau.
