We had the pleasure of staying in a stunning room booked through Ricardo, who was exceptionally welcoming and generous as our host. Our host Francisco was outstanding and went out of his way to ensure our stay was fabulous. The apartments are beautiful. Clean and first class. location is also excellent.

Casa da Estefânea is situated in Sintra, a 13-minute walk from Sintra National Palace. The guesthouse is within a traditional Portuguese building with a Romantic-style architecture.

Douglas is incredibly hospitable, and made our stay so enjoyable. Absolutely delightful service, amazing breakfast spread with a great variety of food, and lovely shared space for guests where you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee and get a sweet treat, and relax/read etc. Little details like beautiful linen, bathrobes and lovely books on Portuguese food and travel were really nice additions. The attention to detail was obvious. It might not be the closest to the tourist sites, but welll worth as it was such a relaxing and comfortable place to come back to after a day of exploring. Wonderfully quiet too, we loved our stay, and are so glad we stayed two nights rather than one.

Absolutely loved staying here. So relaxing and peaceful. Up in the hill, on the tourist bus route to main attractions. The host was so lovely, nothing she wouldn't do for you.

Sintra Marmoris Palace is a 19th-century manor house, which was completely refurbished in 2017, at just a 7-minute walk from the historical centre of Sintra.

The tremendous view from our room and from the breakfast room onto the moorish castle, the classy interior and exterior, the fine individual breakfast, the very friendly and competent staff, the tour we booked through the hotel with a tuktuk company. Everything was brilliant. The hotel is walking distance to the man station and easy accessible by car as well.
