Celeste was fantastic and always approachable. Always there for a helping hand. She offered us coffee and snacks. She gave us advice and really made the effort. We felt at home right away. We liked the house too, very authentic and pretty.

We loved our stay! It is a property with a long history, carefully renovated by the owners and it retained an old world vibe.. It feels like time has stopped and you are transported to a fairly tale here! I loved the attention to detail at every corner. The breakfast was the best we had in Portugal. The breakfast/dining area feels like you're in someone's home. We stayed in the main house and there were very few other guests while we were there. So we stayed a lot in the common area, on the couch with a fireplace. You can keep up the fire yourself and it keeps the room very warm. We were here in October. The weather was cold and rainy. It made our stay even more cozy. The bed was HUGE and super comfortable. We had a car. It would be difficult to stay here without one. It is a pleasant 30-40min drive to see the vineyards in Piñhao. We also liked the city centre of Vila Real, 5min driving from the property. All in all, our favourite stay in Portugal (and we stayed in 5 different hotels/AirBnBs).

We loved everything about this hotel. Dont judge a book by its cover...the outside and area do not do it justice. Inside, the hotel has paid attention to detail, everything you need in the rooms for a comfortable stay. Immaculately clean The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was exceptionally good with, local.produce and seasonal fresh fruits. It is within walking distance of Vila Real.

What a great find. This is such a superb location just 150m from the main centre. My room was at the top but the stairs are easy and I had a lot of luggage. The rooms are very clean and the ac works well hot and cold. The water was hot, the WiFi fast 32 down and 15 up), plus the host very responsive and helpful on WhatsApp. My bed was very comfortable. The room had a kitchenette which was useful to me for the fridge, otherwise I didn’t use it but I looked in the cupboards and everything you might need seemed to be both there and clean. It was good value and I would recommend it.

This was my favourite place to stay in Portugal throughout my trip. In addition to the overall comfort, the owners are also very hospitable, providing a rich breakfast and allowing guests to enjoy afternoon tea💛. We're very enjoy and appreciated. There are many beautiful scenery around the property, such as white apricot blossoms, orange trees and lemon trees, we had a lot of fun just taking pictures around the property.
