On sunday nearly everything is closed in Heidelberg but our host offered as a nice pasta dish with wine for a price close to nothing.
We had an exceptional evening together

South AfricaThe location is just perfect and when you drive down to the accommodation, the views are amazing. Our stay was perfect, and they upgraded our room. Our chalet was big and beautiful with views of the dam/river. The rooms are very pretty and the beds super comfortable. The indoor fireplace was a bonus. Our stay was just too short, but will be back!

She runs the beautifully furnished lodge with so much warmth and attention to detail, you feel perfectly welcome. Breakfast and dinner were insanely good (the best Curry ever), Anna is not only a perfect host, but also a wonderful cook. We arrived and greeted with a hearty evening meal. Beautiful setting and although the farmhouse is out of the way, Anna’s directions were spot on. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We are currently visiting and had a two night stay at Anna's Farm along the Garden Route. We felt very comfortable and Anna's food was very good. There was so much to eat that we couldn't finish it all. Anna is a very courteous and lovely hostess. We liked the silence of the farm - sometimes only crickets, frogs and Albertus could be heard.
