The staff was very friendly and polite. The place itself was very aesthetic and cosy. Location was also great as lake is 2mins walk away and the nearest beach is 5 mins walk, while other beaches and "city center" is 15mins walk away. Our stay included breakfast as well and it was delicious and generous.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, and I really appreciated the breakfast which was each day fresh and very tasty. Helga’s guesthouse is the best accommodation I’ve been so far in my life. It is in a beautifully charming and calm setting overlooking the mountains and the Ohrid lake on the beutiful Lin peninsula. The property seems newly built and is made of high quality design and comfort. The staff was extremely kind and provided tips for my stay. The breakfast was so good I will tell my grandkids in 40 years time. I spent most of my days in the Macedonian side and had to cross the border just to sleep at Helga’s but it was absolutely worth it. I will return and can highly recommend
