I love the place, the history /it is old school/, the design now, the old items gathered there, the little pieces of art in the walls. The room was rather small apartament designed with a taste and very comfortable. The big balcony overseeing the lake. Cofee there in the morning was a pleasure. Breakfast served in a common room with lake view and also designed with a lot of taste. The terrain around for a walk. I am only sorry that it was 1 night stop on a trip!

The accommodations were very nice: Everything was very clean and well-maintained, the bed was huge and very comfortable. There was a wonderful view from our windows, a private patio, and a nice lawn behind the hotel with Muskoka chairs for relaxing. The breakfasts were very good! Highly recommended!

Beautiful view and a lovely room. The location is away from the main drag, but was perfect for our purpose. We wanted to explore the New Brunswick coastal route on the first day and travel to PEI on the second day. The location could be a negative for some travellers, but it was a positive for us.
