It's a lovely, quiet location to wind down and rest, especially since the event we attended, is very loud and busy. This was the 2nd time we stayed here and both times were very enjoyable.

It was very convenient. 🧍‍♀️Owner: She is nice and helpful. ✈️ Distance location-airport: I arrived in the evening from the airport and took a taxi (13 euro). The owner told me that even for a solo woman the road between the house and the airport was safe so early in the morning I went there by walking. As she said, it is a quiet residential area, I felt safe and in 10 min I arrived at the airport. 👍 Definitely recommeded!

Breakfast was great, unfortunately we were in a rush, otherwise we would’ve stayed longer to eat even more. It is a comfortable and cozy place.

Generally we couldn't fault the accommodation. Every thing was fine. The accommodation is a little eccentric, reflecting the owner's taste. One wall was taken up with an outsize TV. Fridge, kettle, and microwave. A shower, representing something from Dr Who. The area is very quiet, only a short walk to Ratingen centre. It was basically the same as a well equipped hotel room. We liked it. If you're looking for a centre point to stay and travel around the area, this accommodation would be ideal. The photos are of the flat and Dusseldorf scenes. I must point out that Dusseldorf is renowned for its 'Alt Bier', which is similar to an English bitter. Often it's served direct from the barrel. It's delicious. I take a small Korn Schnappes with mine. The picture of the elderly couple was taken in 'Zum Urige' in Dusseldorf Altstadt. Prosit!!
