Follow the signs to ‘Posada’. Tucked away by a river, it is quiet with seats beside the river a delight. It is 200m down a concrete lane. Javier was a wonderful host. Do book your evening meal in advance of arrival. Breakfast was Spanish fare and fantastic. The rooms 2 level in an old converted mill building, quaint and cool. The dogs were a bonus, and the scenery simply fantastic.

It is set 2.7 km from The Coliseum Burgos and offers full-day security. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The manager was very kind and helpful. He told us where the laundromat was located. He booked the taxi to take us to the train station. We were able to use the water kettle in the common area. We had a most wonderful stay!

Iglesia de San Gil is 700 metres from the guest house and Art Center Caja de Burgos is 700 metres away. Clean, quiet, comfortable beds, heated in the evening, 4 bathrooms in the apartment. Just a few minutes from the cathedrall and the street with the tapa bars where the local people go. Lovely lady running the place.

I was met at the front door at 11pm by a very charming man. I speak little Spanish and him little English. He was very patient. We will be staying in this hotel again.

The room was very comfortable and clean.
