The terrace on the top of the house is magical - with amazing panoramic views (we watched the sunset there :) ). The parking in the village is free and you can find spots close to the house. The village itself is very cute and there is a local cute cafeteria (for example for breakfast) nearby. We loved the place, thank you so much.

This is a large mansion dating from the end of the 19th century and has been refurbished to accommodate a new style of tourism. The hotel has been lovingly decorated with wood combined with cheerful fabric and with a range of colours and a collection of antique pieces that fill the hallways and bedrooms. This is a place that oozes harmony and with charming gardens populated by hundred year old trees and a swimming pool surrounded by palm trees. The property was wonderfully characterful. Alcove and walls were full of old artefacts and paintings. It had been a plantation in the past but water shortages have changed that. They grow as much fruit as they can for guests. I especially enjoyed the company of the cats and chickens at breakfast

But other than that you feel like you have a nice place to stay, close to the Yumbo Centre, all to yourself. The place is really close to Yumbo, I walked back and forth a couple of times if I happen to forget something. It's very clean and spacious. There's a nice pool too.
