I stayed overnight here as a pilgrim on my camino, I was very tired. The owner wasn't here when I arrived so I called her on my mobile and she came to open the door for me in under 5 minutes. She was a very warm, friendly and helpful woman with a big smile which I really needed at the time as I had been walking for a few days without really seeing many people. Coffee pods, bottled water and some sweets in the room. The balcony was a nice touch. Even though the room is beside the main road it wasn't a problem to sleep. Bathroom is nicely decorated, beautiful tiles. It is a little small but it was fine for me, i didnt feel like i needed more space.

We found Google maps to be inaccurate, the best approach is to take the road through the fields to the high ground to the east. Navigate for the church. We recommend visiting the hot springs in Ourense and the Roman hilltop fort and museum, Centro de Interpretacion da Cultural Castrexa. Highly recommended!
