Super cute and cozy. It was clear the owners put in effort to make it a charming stay and we loved it. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful and we would absolutely recommend staying with them. I forgot my soap in their shower and they went above and beyond to meet me in the city center on our journey back south to return it. We liked that the location was a little outside the city center, but everything is super accessible due to the proximity to the bus line and the walking paths into the city (about 40-50 minutes walking). While totally out of anybody’s control, we got to see the northern lights the first night in town which added a little extra magic to our stay.

The location was really good considering that we rented a car and wanted to be off the main city. We could easily drive around to the waterfalls and Ranua zoo. The room was spacious and comfortable and we also enjoyed the sauna! The host is friendly and gave us good tips on what to visit in the area. It was also a great spot to catch the Northern Lights without having to travel anywhere else, but that was also a good dose of luck :)

The house was very spacious, and both the bed and sofa were very comfortable. The landlord was very kind and provided a lot of assistance! Although the location was somewhat remote, there were forests and other places nearby to explore. The landlord even provided a small sled, which was adorable.
