I've stayed in almost every B&B / Hotel in Clacton over the last 20 years (I visit a few times a year for work) and overall this place is a perfect fit for me.

In the restaurant, a Continental and cooked breakfast is available in the morning for a surcharge. Muesli, yoghurt and fresh fruit is also available. Using fresh, local produce there is also a lunch and dinner menu available. The menu also includes a ‘Huffer’ filled sandwich, popular with the locals. We liked everything about the inn, it was an amazing spot on a cycle route and very friendly towards cyclists, the owner is keen cyclist himself. The room was excellent and the evening meal we had there was very good indeed. Fantastic service throughout from all the staff. Would recommend to anyone.
