We had an exceptional stay at the Riverside Inn in December on our visit to Ludlow and the surrounding area. Our stay in one of the garden lodges was delightful; the lodge was clean, bright and well-equipped and we had a fabulous nights sleep. The location is stunning, and we truly appreciated their commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the beans, and we enjoyed dinner on both evenings so we could try out as many of the menu items as possible! The food and hospitality were among the best we've experienced in recent years.

The location is fantastic as we were lucky enough to have the room with balcony overlooking the rope ferry etc !

Brandon Lodge is a professionally converted 19th-century building within the city boundaries, 1 mile from the centre, 2 miles from the train station and within walking distance of a frequent bus... Quiet and clean; breakfasts were excellent, staff was friendly and helpful; room was on the ground floor so no stairs to climb; and room was serviced every day.

The bed was very comfy with an en-suite and nice spacious shower. The room had lovely views over looking the valley and garden.
