Set in Castleton, 17 km from Buxton Opera House, Four Seasons Guesthouse features rooms with mountain views and free WiFi. The property is around 23 km from Chatsworth House, 32 km from FlyDSA Arena and 40 km from Capesthorne Hall. The guest house has family rooms. Everything! The interior design was lovely, it didn't feel like another room at the inn. Rooms are facing the main road and we could see the Peveril Castle out of the corner of the window. Teas, coffees and milk (in fridge) was adequate. Short walk to the shops.

At The Shoulder of Mutton each room comes with a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and a great place for staying with a dog. The breakfasts were lovely, nicely cooked and we all enjoyed an evening meal. I am coeliac but I had plenty of choice including a lovely homemade gluten free lasagna and chips, cooked in a separate fryer, a real treat! (We actually stayed for three nights, not one as it says on my review form).
