Being tucked away with just a couple of horses for neighbours, in a stylish and immaculately clean studio, a stones throw from the heathland was perfect. We were asked about dietary requirements in advance and just hoped we might get some nondairy milk, we got so much more - mushrooms, bread, jam, marmite, plant based butter (not marg), cereal, granola, berries, orange juice, tea and coffee and all good quality (Waitrose). Honestly excellent :)

Excellent in every way, the owner went out of his way to be helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well appointed. The building and decor was modern and aesthetically pleasing. Lovely little extras in the room and at breakfast, and the breakfast itself was top class

The cabin was beautifully styled and was light and airy. A lovely big comfy bed, good facilities and in a secluded and peaceful setting next to the main house. Good communications beforehand with Debbie and a really delicious breakfast of warm pastries, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit etc was waiting for us on the doorstep in the morning. We originally planned to leave first thing in the morning to travel on to friends in the West Country but ended up delaying our journey by a couple of hours as it was so lovely being in the cabin!

Breakfast was lovely and filling and kept me going most of the day! Hosts were friendly and attentive.

Superb breakfast, friendly staff. Bathroom toiletries are really nice. We always try to stay here when we are visiting the area.

Each space in this historic building has been beautifully decorated. There are loads of nice extra touches; gifts for your dog along with a Polaroid camera to take pictures for the pet guest book, a beautiful outdoor covered fire lounge area, well maintained gardens. The dining and indoor spaces are lovely. Very good breakfast. The rooms are spacious, comfortable beds, bathrooms are gorgeous with high end soaps and products. There is a great selection of teas. Wish we could have stayed longer!!
