The apartment was clean and comfortable. Everything that we needed had been supplied and thought of in detail, on top of all of this was the lovely welcome from the host and hostess. We would highly recommend staying at the property, as it was such a lovely experience for us, and hope that one day we may be able to return. One thing I didn’t mention was the view from the balcony, which is where we had our breakfast every morning and had an incredible view of life in the port.

Is a truly fantastic hotel offering a rich hydran experience. Totally worth walking the extra steps for the best views over the harbor. Rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Most importantly Mrs Matina’s incredible energy, responsiveness, warm smile and wonderful recommendations for the most authentic experience really made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

All the staff very friendly and helpful. My ferry was cancelled the day I was due to leave and they went out of their way to ensure I could stay in the room an extra night.

Athina Guesthouse is situated in a quiet neighbourhood within a 5-minute walk away from the cosmopolitan and commercial port of Hydra. It is a traditional stone-made mansion with fully equipped rooms.... Perfect service the two ladies were very accommodating and really nice(sorry I don't have a good memory for names 😂), location was good. You have everything needed in here plus it's quite a pretty house with the terrace
