Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

The view from our room is something I’ll never forget; it was truly breathtaking. We also went on a few tours, and while we didn’t quite connect with the tour guide, we learned a lot about Toraja unique culture,we were grateful that the host upgraded our room, which we appreciated a lot. The area is a must-visit, and although the car we traveled in could use some work, the driver was fantastic. I highly recommend reaching out to the host for any information about the area—she’s extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. It’s clear that she loves sharing her local insights, and you can feel the care she puts into making each guest’s experience special. We felt at home. Thank you

To top it off, the food at the restaurant was amazing. Both the local and international options were very delicious. Can't wait to come back!

I realized that the location didn't really suit me, but Debora and Jeremy went all the way to help me out! There's not really any restaurants in the countryside neighborhood and Debora offered to cook more of their own dinner, which was lovely! 😍🙏 Over all I had a lovely stay!

She spoke superb English and was instrumental in securing opportunities for snorkeling trips and all the necessary equipment which was my intended focus. The neighborhood where her homestay house is located provided a true Bunaken Island village experience. Bunaken Marine Park and boat access is right in the back yard as the property is on the water.
