The atmosphere is perfect. Dinner is really good. We had a little get away for our honeymoon and we will forever cherish how special they made it. Thank you.

Paola is also a great cook who loves cooking for people. We were amazed at our dinner. One of our favourite meals in Italy! It’s a small and beautiful village. We saw many flowers and loved the sound of cattle bells. I would definitely stay there again.

Locanda Boton D'Oro, a property with a bar, is situated in Auronzo di Cadore, 35 km from Sorapiss Lake, 18 km from Lake Cadore, as well as 30 km from Lake Misurina. Looking at the reviews, I had mixed feelings in choosing this location, but it was something that I wanted to try and it did not disappoint. The room was practically brand new and looked amazing. We had dinner after checking in, and the whole experience was great as we had the restaurant only for us. The food was super tasty here, whilst having dinner or having breakfast. If you come, you must try their cheese platter (dinner / lunch), as it will not disappoint. The breakfast is also super tasty and rich in flavors (especially the home made cheese and yogurt). The staff was nice and helpful and made the whole experience complete.

Exceptionally clean and organized guest house. Everything was clean and felt new. Very welcoming and comfortable. Just a short walk <10 minutes into the town. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for a month, but the receptionist met us and checked us in. Despite being next to the road, it was quite a quiet room.
