L’établissement 馬籠ふるさと学校 Magome Furusato Gakkou vous accueille à Nakatsugawa, à 900 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Toson Memorial Museum. What really stands out, is the 5-star service by the receptionists. Actually even better than 5 stars, as there's none of the condescending glances one might get at 5-star hotels. :-D I'm especially grateful for the extra help I got from the bilingual Japanese receptionist. Despite hostel-style accommodation, I slept very well and found the bed to be comfy. The place is easy to reach on foot from Magome-juku bus stop, even with a large suitcase, as there's a pavement all the way.

L’établissement 熱海温泉 実の別荘 vous accueille à Atami, à respectivement 1,6 km et 27 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Plage d’Atami et Gare de Hakone-Yumoto. Close to 来宮駅 Kinomiya Station just next to Atami. I could walk to Kinomiya shrine from the hotel. Nice view from the room seeing birds and squirrel and I could see the Hatsushima Island. It is very peaceful atmosphere around this area. The Hotel was clean and a nice big size. Private spring bath was great! There was a large window in the lounge room morning sun shine straight through. Owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. I am very happy to find this Hotel.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. A few minutes walking from the train station and others touristic places, the location it's so convenient. The common spaces have many Ghibli stuff as decoration, so at some point you feel like you are in a friend's home. Staff are so kind and helpful when we need anything. Bunks has curtains so we have privacy at the dormitory. There is free coffee for everyone! This is the second time I get to Takayama and I loved it as the first time and the accommodation was outstanding for me.

Our stay at this traditional ryokan was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing experience. Waking up to a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji right from our window was something we’ll never forget – truly magical. The communal kitchen was a lovely touch, thoughtfully stocked with breakfast essentials, tea, and coffee. We also loved watching wild deer wander by. There are bikes that are free to use and it’s only a 5-10 minute cycle to the nearest 7-eleven. We rented a car and were able to park directly outside. Other guests that we met didn’t have a car enjoyed walking to the nearest bus/ train station. The neighbour is quiet and very safe. What made our stay even more special was the owner. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. His hospitality added such a personal and warm touch to our visit.

We loved Ken and Yuki’s hospitality! They have a precious house in a privileged location with amazing facilities. They were keen to help with anything we needed and were proactive on helping us with our travel plans. The food is also something worth mentioning, they cook delicious meals with locally produced products.

L’établissement Kikusui se trouve à Fujinomiya, à respectivement 43 km et 44 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Lac Kawaguchi et Parc d'attractions Fuji-Q Highland. We had a very spacious room, consisting of bedroom, little living room, patio and bathroom. All equipment modern, still very stylish Japanese. Very quiet, little private bamboo forest in front of the window.

At the end of our Japanese adventure we were weighed down with more luggage than when we arrived, and the owner was kind enough to pick us up at the train station by car. The accommodations were beautiful with a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji. The rooms were very cozy, ours even had a large TV. There are two toilets and two bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. It tends to be busier when there are more guests, but fortunately everyone respects the curfew. The guests very willingly and voluntarily transported us into town the next day, for which we thank them very much. The accommodation was right next to the konbini so a real win.

L’établissement 白馬の黒馬 DarkHorse @Hakuba vous accueille à Hakuba, à 16 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Station de ski de Tsugaike. Il comprend un jardin, un salon commun, un bar et un parking privé gratuit. This place is a true gem, Andy and the crew made us feel right at home! Great atmosphere, even better food! We had three perfect days on the slopes in March and this place was our perfect base. Highly recommended! Thx a lot!
