This is a beautiful traditional Japanese guest house on the island of Yuge. We spent a night here while biking the Shimanami Kaido trail. Yas, our host, was super kind and helpful. Fully equipped kitchen with free coffee and tea. Nice shower. Towels can be rented for 100 yen and laundry machine use for 100 yen as well. Very comfortable tatami beds. Close to a very good izakaya restaurant for dinner as well!

Every dish was exquisite and beautifully presented, you could really feel the love and care that went into preparing the meal. Breakfast was just as good. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone cycling the Shimanami Kaido. It’s not just a place to rest, it’s a highlight of the journey.
