Yujiro, the owner, contacted me even before my stay with amazing recommendations such as restaurants and attractions in Takeo Onsen area. He even assisted in booking a table for me at an marvelous restaurant. Thank you for making my Takeo Onsen experience truly amazing, Yurijo. In addition, the location of the guesthouse in ideal as you can walk to many places such as the famous tree, the library and the onsen itself. Also, the room is spacious and the bed is comfy. I slept like a rock. Before I left, I had an insightful and fun conversation with Yurijo. Thank you again. Hope to see you and stay at the guesthouse again.

Le personnel est adorable , et très serviable , les chambres sont propres fonctionnelles et les futons très confortables , les douches et espaces communs sont supers ! Seul point négatif : le bruit des avions qui passent au dessus , mais c’est aussi l’intérêt de ce logement : sa proximité avec l’aéroport . Pour une nuit de passage c est parfait , si vous voulez un peu de calme , les avions peuvent déranger!

We loved every second of our stay at IKOI in Yanagawa. The guest house was a lovely half hour walk from the train station along the canal in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. We loved strolling around the area and it was easy to get to boat rides and restaurants nearby. IKOI itself is wonderful and had everything we needed. Warm room (can't say that about every place we have stayed at), super comfortable beds and other amenities in tip top condition. The view of the garden from the cafe is honestly worth the price alone, it's breathtaking. It's hard to believe you're not in the countryside when looking out that window. Finally, I have to dedicate a paragraph of this review to Jo, the owner. He was so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. He helped us with figuring out transportation, he called a restaurant for us to help with a reservation and he recommended some local places that ended up being the highlight of our stay in Yanagawa. I cannot say enough great things about our host, just 10/10. Overall, our stay at IKOI was wonderful and I could not recommend this place more!

L’établissement Guest House CARAPAN vous accueille à Kagoshima, à quelques pas de ce lieu d’intérêt : Iso Beach. Loved this beautiful property - so unusual and stunning, with great views of Sakurajima. The rooms are super comfortable and cosy, and the shower is nice and hot with good water pressure. The host was very kind and attentive and made me feel at home. There was a little packed breakfast including fresh GF muffins waiting for me in the morning which I took on my adventures up Sakurajima. The location is on a beach a little further out of the town area, but there are buses and it’s an easy walk too if you want or need to get home later than the bus timetable. I walked both nights I stayed and it was a lovely end to the evening (and helps with digestion!). There is a Joyful, 7/11, and a Starbucks that open until night time or early hours just over the road if you need something local to ride you over. Loved my stay here and would return.
