When we arrived there was nobody around, so we sent a message via Booking and 10 minutes later our host appeared. She was so nice and offered us green tee with Japanese sweets during the afternoon. She also prepared a fresh breakfast (we appeared one morning at 10.20 and she had prepared a small soupe and sandwiches- so thoughtful!). We can only fully recommend the guesthouse.

Aiming to see the morning mist on the lake water (a special scene only in autumn and winter), we looked out from the window in our room at 7:15am and saw some mists start coming out. So we went for the hot spring (with lake view) first, then took a walk round the lake to enjoy the views of the hotel, red maples and morning mists before we headed back for breakfast. Breakfast set was freshly prepared. I especially loved the bread which was steaming hot and tasted perfect with the corn soup. The outlook of the hotel might look dated, but the interior is very well maintained and cleaned. Guestrooms are quite spacious.

There’s also a washing machine tho I didn’t use it since it was my first day of traveling. Very large apt which was more than I needed. But price was excellent.
