The landlord even lent me a bicycle, allowing me to explore the Yokai City in Sakaiminato freely! What's more amazing is that the landlord is actually from New Zealand! When he learned my name is Kiwi, he looked astonished. When I showed him my kiwi bird profile picture, we high-fived excitedly! What a wonderful coincidence! He kept showing me the New Zealand elements in the house, and there were really many!

It was an interesting experience to live like a local in a tatami room. The owners of the property are very nice and hospitable people. In the owners' house, you can see a large collection of things related to the famous anime "Detective Conan". In addition, the respected owner showed us very beautiful lamps that he makes himself, and in the evening the owners kindly offered us to try a traditional Japanese tea ceremony with a sensei with the opportunity to make our own green tea. They also treated us to delicious baked sweet potatoes and gave us souvenirs related to the anime. It was very nice. At Yura Station, where the property is located, there are many interesting locations dedicated to the anime Detective Conan. If you are a fan of this anime, or just interested in Japanese culture and traditions, you should definitely stay at this friendly house.

L’hébergement L'AtelieR Guest House Yonago se situe à Yonago, à respectivement 18 km et 32 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Route de Mizuki Shigeru et Lac Shinji. Il dispose de la climatisation. Great location near Yonago station at a 15 minute walk distance. The owner, Micheal was very kind, gave a lot of advice, and spoke fluent english (with a nice french accent). Will definitely choose this place again when I come back to Yonago

Beautiful and tranquil house located opposite supermarket just across the street and not far from osen, and restaurants. In the morning we even ran about 5 km to big ponds nearby. Owner is nice and helpful.

There was a kitchen area that was easy to use, and the bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The lady in charge was so friendly and helpful.

One of the best places we have visited in Japan. Truly amazing and a unique location. Fantastic BBQ and cold beer on a hot day with a very kind host. Thank you so much!!

L’établissement Tottori Guest House Miraie BASE se situe à Tottori, à respectivement 48 km et 7,4 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Daijoji Temple et Tottori Sand Dunes. We loved everithing about this place. The house is even nicer and the rooms even larger than on the pictures. Equipped with ebrrything one might need. And the owner is super kind and helpful. Super location with walking distance to the train station (ca 15 min), in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We rented two bikes, got e-bikes top quality for 1000 yen/pers/day which made it possible for us to see the castle ruins and the dunes the same evening as we arrived. Next day we took our luggage to the train station where they had lockers and went on to Oiwa station, walk 30 min through wonderful rice fields to Iwami and took a boat cruise to Uradome Geo Park, did a hike in Ajiro afterwards and then direct bus towards Tottori with a stop at the East entrance to the dunes, where we went down to swim at the beach. Took next buss to Tottori station, where we left our luggage. The area is totally worth several days, but with the above itinerary, it is managable within 24 hours as well.

Kenny and Lumi were exceptionally kind. Very helpful and thoughtful. This is a very good place to stay, especially if you don't speak Japanese since Kenny and Lumi both speak English: they are always willing to give advice and tips, and always willing and ready to help. Also, the inn is pet friendly. Our rabbits had a great time too.
