Impeccably clean and incredibly pleasant to stay in. The bathroom was fully equipped, and the small fridge was a great bonus. The entire complex is simply stunning – beautifully maintained and full of character. And the breakfast… the pumpkin porridge and sandwiches will stay in my heart forever — absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! Oh, and just to add — the thin mattress was surprisingly comfortable. I had a 10/10 quality sleep!

It’s in a great location and suitable for folks who want to stay away from the downtown area and hotel towers.

The host greeted us, and made sure we were comfortably settled in. She was also very responsive and kind, and helped answer all of our questions over text. She had welcome gifts, and breakfast prepared for us for the next day. The breakfast was hearty and filling. The Hanok has great internet, and a very nice bath. It is close to the main attractions in Gyeongju, and can also walk easily to cute cafes in the neighborhood. Definitely recommend staying here, and hope to visit again soon <3

Gyeongju Station is 11 km away and Bulguksa Temple is 15 km from the guest house. My husband and I really liked Gyeongju, and we highly recommend staying in a hanok, such as Hyuhyudang. In this classic house, you can experience the old housing style and Korean culture. Jenny was very kind and served us a delicious and healthy breakfast.

Songso Gotaek is 38 km from the guest house, while Yonghwasa Temple is 38 km from the property. Daegu International Airport is 100 km away. Perfectly clean and generously stocked with tea, coffee etc. We received a very warm welcome and lots of information. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Junny may be the best host I've ever had.

This place was super cool, the gentleman who ran the home was absolutely incredible. When we arrived he went through the local attractions, suggested activities, and was generally incredibly helpful. The stay itself is a very unique experience, if you're looking for a traditional hanok stay I can't imagine a better place to do it.
