He basically helped us with everything, the booking of kayaking in the lake, the turtle watching, he took us to the beach and shared lots of useful information. He even waited at the beach to ride my kids back by his motorcycle when it was almost 10 pm. As we were swimming, he arranged our dinner by the pool. The breakfast was also hearty and delicious. As for the villa, it is clean, spacious, nicely decorated. Every room has a clothes drying rack, which is very thoughtful. My favorite is the swimming pool, very clean and modern, there is also a kids pool too!

Guests at the guest house can enjoy a Full English/Irish breakfast, and breakfast in the room is also available. Guests can eat in the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which is open for dinner, lunch, brunch and high tea. They will book your safari for you! It’s a great comfortable and friendly place. I can highly recommend staying here and booking your safari with them.

Secluded dream beaches within walking distance (though unfortunately very rough at this time of year). Lots of restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. A true piece of authentic Sri Lanka. They are very attentive and friendly and had the best recommendations. Each morning, breakfast was fresh and tasty. We had dinner there as well and it was the best meal all week. After some time travelling I feel safe to say that you can tell the difference between people just making money of you and people who really know what they are doing and want the best for you. And Priya only wants the best for you and he will go out of his way to give you anything you want. From picking us up at the bus stop for free, coming to get us when it started raining and we were in the city, taking us to a beautiful little safari around the lake at sunset showing us lots of birds, crocodiles and bats, recommending us which buses to take from and to other destinations, to organizing the best safari we could hope for. He recommended us to do a full day in block 1 and we are really happy we took his advice. Priya works with very experienced guides and we had an amazing safari and even though it was peak season we managed to be most of the day alone and witness the park for what it is with its beauty and variety of animals. The accomodation itself is quite simple but it was more than enough for us. Nice clean room, good wifi, good AC, good food, comfortable bed. Absolutely recommend!

Not only was the room very comfortable, the rest of the house and garden (including garden/pool area) offered some nice places to relax as well. The staff was really nice and catered to all our needs, from doing our laundry till preparing a breakfast package at 4:30 AM to bring to our safari. Highly recommended!
