I booked this property based on a review written by a family similar to ours. And the open air bathroom. We are a family of 4 with a 5 yr old girl and 2 year old boy. We rented the large family suite and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Less then 5 mins from the beach, large comfortable double beds with mosquito nets, a shared kitchenette, large comfortable bathroom with hot water and AC. The owners were such lovely accommodating people. The best part was the location. Hiritekiya is an Instagramy digital nomady hotspot, and Jungle Escape is located in the less developed part of the beach. So we were close to everything but in a more tranquil environment.

The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. The property had a wonderfully spacious and relaxed atmosphere that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with a variety of delicious options that changed each morning, keeping things fresh and exciting. However, the standout feature of our stay was the incredible staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, friendly, and eager to assist. A special mention goes to Roshan, whose attentive and thoughtful service ensured our stay was nothing short of perfect.
