Lovely place. Probably the nicest guesthouse we stayed in in that price range during our trip. Enjoyed the peaceful vibe after visiting some more busy touristy places previously. We also took their safari tour to Yala. The national park was really amazing.

The pool was clean and at any time accessible, the rooms were tidy, clean, and very spacious. Large balcony, private and quiet. The location was great too. I spent there 2 nights and it was very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious too. Definitely recommend this place. Great value for the money!

Guests can eat in the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which is open for dinner, lunch, brunch and high tea. The entire family that run this place are about the nicest people you will ever meet. They did above and beyond to help me out, notably finding and then physically hailing mystery bus #10 direct to Elle which saved me 7 hours travel time. Facilities were clean, comfortable and relaxing even though, because I was too cheap to pay for air conditioning, a little hot in the early evenings. I suggest you choose more wisely. They have free bikes, which I was unable to take advantage of but others raved about and the on site food was very good. Bring guitar pics, music, and a few licks for their talented son.

They arranged a safari for us for 16400 rupees (54€) and it was awesome, it included a huge breakfast in the middle of yala national park. You also get a coffee/tea and bananas before the safari starts.

Very nice and comfortable place. the staff are very well taken care of and prepare breakfast before an early safari. at the same time, the staff is also invisible, so you feel that the whole villa belongs to you (if there are no other guests). we spent most of our time on the terrace by the pool, meaning in the common area, which was very nice to be around.

Bundala Bird Sanctuary is 26 km from the guest house, while Situlpawwa is 39 km from the property. Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport is 28 km away. Dilushika and Gayan were exceptional hosts, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delightful, and we also enjoyed dinner there—Dilushika's egg kottu is the best! The garden is stunning! I could have easily stayed longer. The beds were comfortable, complete with mosquito nets for a peaceful night's sleep. I loved sleeping by the soothing sounds of birds. The view is absolutely breathtaking! They also organize safari at the best price with excellent guides. Additionally, they arranged a taxi to Ella for us at a rate even better than Uber.

Super unique property with wetlands surrounding it and owner’s special “pets”. Hosts were lovely and arranged amazing safari for me. They are very kind and helpful!! Highly recommend.
